COMPOSER
As a composer or songwriter, I love writing to a brief - whether it's a piece of film or theatre that needs the music to help tell a story, or an artist who wants songs written or co-written for a new album. I love top-down writing , where I can lend my skills to bring an emotion or idea to life - I feel that's the place where I do all of my best work.
PRODUCER
As a producer, I love working with band and artists, trying to find the core of their musical ideas and stripping away anything that could be considered 'non-essential'. For me, helping to produce a record is about finding the 'why?' in every decision that's made, to try and create a piece that is honest, authentic and captures where that artist is right now.
