I’ve decided to make registration totally optional. You can register if you like and I’ll keep you updated when I post new content or release new products (some backing tracks, books and the eventual DVD are on their way…)
So straight away, you can enjoy the entire site.
My work on this site and on the youtube videos is based on the same principles as my good buddy Justin Sandecoe over at http://www.justinguitar.com
to quote him:
You will find lots of useful bass lessons and information here – it’s all free, but works on an”honour system“. If you can afford to pay for the lessons then please donate for what you use – imagine it was a pay site. If you can’t afford to donate it is no problem at all!
. If I had a donation from everyone who emailed and said how much more they learnt from this site than their “regular” teacher then I would have a lot more time to develop this site to cover more areas and make it totally rock. Rich people that don’t donate should feel bad
Donations keep the site free for those that can’t afford to donate!
Donations don’t have to be big – every little helps. If you’d like to make a donation, please click here to go to my Paypal page .
If you’d prefer, you can buy me something from
they range in price from £0.01 to £30-ish, so you can donate a lot or a little – either way, I’d be very grateful.
in 2009, there will be a FLOOD of new content – keep your eyes peeled.

Dave,
I just dropped into Amazon to pick you up a copy of the John Mayer Trio. I just saw the live show the other day and Pino was droppin knowledge on the Fender Precision. Figured this would put a smile on the face.
Thanks for the work on your website. It’s helping me blossom as a player and I love the walking bass lines sessions. Top notch. Make is stateside soon and make sure you hit up Chicago. I’ll make it up to see you.
