EBS Pedals

EBSlogo(Please note, this page is still under construction – the links on the pedals are live, if you want to see some details on the EBS website.)

I’ve used a whole range of different pedals over the years, but my essential pedals are all made by EBS. For those of you that aren’t aware of EBS, they’re a Swedish company that specialises in high end bass amps and pedals. Over the years, I’ve had the priviledge of playing and reviewing a whole range of rigs from so many different companies. The EBS gear I got stood out head and shoulders above the rest, so when I started building my pedal board up, I went out and bought all of the pedals that EBS had in their range. (They have since built a few new ones… I’ll get round to buying them when I have a bit more spare cash !!$$$!!)

You can check their website for information on their entire range of amps and effects, as well as seeing news about all of their artists here.

Here’s the range of pedals that I currently have attached to my board:

This is my most essential pedal – it’s the one that comes with me on every gig. When playing my six string in particular, the range of those instruments is very hard to keep balanced. I used to play solos and fills in the high register that would suddenly disappear… with the Mulitcomp, suddenly those high passages would sing out.

I love the Octabass. After years of playing a six string bass, when I take my Musicman and my Fender to gigs, I need those low notes!  Of all the suboctave pedals that I’ve come across, none of them track as quickly and accurately as the Octabass.
